This family event will be held at the Bowling Alley and Grill so that we can eat their amazing burgers and hot dogs while we bowl and visit and meet each other's families. We will also be in the Sugarland Mall so we can spread out if we need to. So exciting!!!

Friday, August 2, will begin at the Aquatic Pavilion, located at 400
East 15th Street (by the YMCA), at 6:00 p.m. This is a chance to show off your kiddos, spouses, partners, etc.
NO ALCOHOL PLEASE!
We will have a grill available for those that want to pitch in for burgers and/or hot dogs, or please feel free to have a picnic basket for your family.
Saturday, August 3, we will be out at the Rancho Explosion, 3951 North Progressive Road, beginning at 1:00 p.m. There will be an afternoon of group activities, games, catching up, etc. Dinner will be served from 7:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. followed by a DJ/Dance featuring DJ Manyoso out of Amarillo, Texas, until 1:00 a.m. Saturday will be a BYOB event. NO GLASS CONTAINERS ALLOWED per the owners of the venue.
T-SHIRT orders MUST be turned in and paid for by July 17th to ensure we have them in time.

Our 40th Class Reunion for 2011 has been set for August 6 & 7, 2011 in Hereford, Texas. The main gathering will be Saturday evening at the VFW. If you received this letter by regular U.S. mail, that is because we do not have an active email address for you. If you would like to provide an email address for future updates, please do so by sending your address to chorton@mcginnislaw.com. I will put your address in the contact list for the reunion. We can still send things by regular mail, it would just be so much much easier and quicker to send notifications by email rather than stuffing envelopes, buying stamps and putting letters in the mail, plus it is less expense. Everyone will need to send their money for the Saturday evening meal by mail, but if you have access to email, please send your responses that way too so that we can get a handle on exactly how many people we will have coming and make sure that we have everything lined up. Also, please let us know when your will be arriving in Hereford and how long you plan to stay. We may be able to come up with some additional activities. Please review the list below and mark the items that you want to participate in as well a how many people will be with you. Feel free to invite whomever you would like, the more the merrier. Be sure to include your name and the name of your spouse and any guest. After 40 years it may be pretty important that we have name tags. You know, people change and minds go.

The '99 Class Reunion is not cancelled. Below is information on an updated plan. We know that not everyone can make it, but if you are going to be in town we would love to see you. Thanks to Byrnne and Lyndi, we already have some great locations reserved for these events, so we will just modify the food plan a bit since there are not as many of us that can come--a little less formal--more BYOB/BYO food. · Friday, July 3rd: Class of ‘99 meets at the KC Hall at 7:00 pm--no cost/no RSVP required, just bring your own drinks, late night munchies, and stories of the good old days at HHS. If anyone knows of a free live band / DJ / has a "jam box" with a "Dance Mix '99 cassette†to plug into the wall at the KC Hall let me know--you will be in charge of the music plan; otherwise you will have to listen to Nathan's acapella rendition of "Baby got Back"--no one wants that. · Saturday, July 4th: Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm, we want to “Meet the Familyâ€. We will have a picnic at the Hereford Aquatic Center Park/Pavilion (not the swimming pool). Again no cost/no RSVP, just bring the kids and a picnic for your fam. Besides the picnic, there was some discussion of a parade/float--please let me know if one of you is interested in taking up that effort. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
