About Me	Retired because of the pandemic. Stayed home. Rock musician, still play guitar, bass, some synthesizer. Obviously my playing style is heavily influenced by 1970's rock music. Sort of an improvised heavy progressive, fusion, bluesy rock style, if that makjes any sense. Not in a band just now (7/2023). I occasionally do instrumental jam sessions with other musician friends. Formerly worked on the side at a friend's recording studio in Newburyport, MA, though that's been long gone for decades now.-- I go hiking & Backcountry Skiing (skiing in the woods, generally on hiking trails, not in a lift-served ski area) in the White Mountain National Forest of NH & Maine whenever I can. Also Pawtuckaway & Bear Brook NH State Parks & Lake Massabesic at the Audubon Center locally. [Note: Didn't go skiing this season (2022 / 2023) due to poor local natural snow accumulation conditions & recovering from medical issues. Next year!] Probably hiked Mt Washington about 3 dozen times. Skied the lower part of Hillman's Highway up in the Tuckerman Ravine area of Mount Washington quite a few times in the late 1990's / early 2000's. You have to be really brave & crazy to ski from the top of the Bowl or the Lip in Tuckerman Ravine. I'm not that person... &, besides, wicked way too old now to do anything really way out & wild. Plenty of other beautiful locations in the WMNF to enjoy skiing! -- Divorced since the 1980's, I have 2 children, 3 grandchildren. I've been living in Derry, NH for over a decade near my son's family. -- Also, on a more solemn note, a few who are no longer with us. Brian Goldsmith, childhood friend & neighbor, moved to Hampton Beach after his Junior year. Died March 15, 1974 in a car crash in Florida where he was attending college studying Oceanography. Memorial Service was at St. Rita's Church in Haverhill. He is buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery on North Broadway in Haverhill. -- James S. Noyes, knew him since grade school at the now long demolished Hannah Duston School which stood opposite HHS on Monument St. Jimmy had joined the NH State Police & suffered fatal gunshot wounds while on duty on October 3, 1994. There's multiple memorial sites online for Jimmy. --Normand Fournier, my closest friend from high school. Lots of adventures & misadventures. Passed away on November 18, 2014 from complications after surgery in Middleburg Heights, Ohio where he lived & worked. A memorial service was held at All Saints Church in June 2015 in Haverhill. Norm was buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery on upper Hilldale Avenue in Haverhill.
