Donna died after a two year fight against an aggressive form of breast cancer. The previous summer she underwent a bone marrow transplant. For a number of years Donna was in the US army. Upon her discharge she worked as an office assistant outside of her home in Chicago. Donna had one son, Paul Roddy. When Donna died she'd been sober for twelve years and was friend of Bill W.
