Nancy graduated as an LPN in 1957. For twenty years she worked at the now defuncts Hale Hospital. At the age of forty-eight she became a registered nurse. For several years she worked a nursing home. Throughout her life, Nancy lived in Plaistow and Atkinson. She had two sons and three grandchildren. Nancy also had four great grandchildren.
