Adele was married to Walter Ryan, HHS '31. They had three daughters, Sheila, Ann and Martha. She had ten grandchildren. Adele went back to nursing school in her 50s. She became an LPN, graduating at the top of her class. For several years she worked at the now defunct Hale Hospital as an LPN. Upon her retirement Adele worked part-time at the now defunct Glynn Memorial Nursing home. Adele passed away of pneumonia and congestive heart failure.
