Enlisted as a Hospital Corpsman, received my nursing degree, did 4 years as a Navy Nurse and switched to the Air Force which I will retire from in 2013. So far have done one deployment to the Indian Ocean and one deployment to the Middle East.

As a reserve officer served in NAS Saginala Sicily, NAS Patuxent River MD, NADC Johnsville PA, and NAS Willow Grove PA. Retired in 1998 as a commander.

Robert William Morris

A decorated 22-year Army veteran, he served as an E-6 medic in the 1st BTN Special Forces Group Airborne stationed Fort Dix, N.J. Staff Sgt. Morris then attended flight school at Fort Rucker, Ala., earning his Army Aviation Wings. CWO3 Morris flew the AH-1 Cobra, earning ‘Top Gun,’ and was honorably discharged in July 1997. He was attached to the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. The awards and decorations he received for his service were Army Service Ribbon, Army Aviation Badge, Parachutist Badge, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, Rifle Expert M16, Expert Grenade and Warrant Officer Rotary Wing Aviator Course.

US Army Reserve, from July 2, 1989 to July 17, 2007. Served in Army Reserve units in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. As a Lieutenant Colonel, commanded the 328th Quartermaster Detachment, and after mobilization, deployed the unit to Iraq from November 2004 to October 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, overseeing the petroleum resupply operations throughout Iraq. Served a second tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from August 2006 to February 2007, overseeing the deployment of units from Kuwait to Iraq and the redeployment of units from Iraq to Kuwait and back to the United States. Retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, Quartermaster Corps, on July 17, 2007 after 29 years of combined active duty and reserve duty service.
