Robert A. Berry 61, of Harrisburg passed peacefully October 22, 2015. He was the son of the late Robert J. Berry and Eleanor Conyers Berry.

Bob was a graduate of John Harris High School, Allegheny College, University of Georgia and Dickinson Law School.

He worked for the law firm of Melman, Gekas, Nicholas and Lieberman, served as a Dauphin County Assistant District Attorney and established a private practice in family and criminal law.

He enjoyed music, reading, traveling and sports. He leaves to celebrate his life; sons, Robert "Andy" Berry (Kristin Klinger), Alden and Connor Berry, brother; Steven Berry and a host of relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc., Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Downtown Daily Bread 310 N. 3rd Street Harrisburg, PA 17101 or State Street Academy of Music 110 State Street Harrisburg, PA 17101.

A TIME TO BE BORN
Ronald O. Wilkerson, the son of the late Thomas D. Wilkerson, Sr., and the late Lona A. Wilkerson was born on Saturday, July 17, 1954 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
A TIME TO LEARN AND WORK: Ronnie as he was affectionally called by family and friends, received his formal education in the Harrisburg Public School District, graduating from John Harris in 1973. During his working career, Ronnie worked for the Harrisburg School District Special Education Department and retired from Keystone Human Service as a program supervisor after 23 years of dedicated service.
A TIME TO ENJOY LIFE: Ronnie was a loving and generous brother and uncle. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews, whom he teased often. Ronnie always left a lasting impression on everyone he met. In his leisure he loved traveling and buying fine clothes and enjoying the finer things in life..
A TIME TO DIE: On Saturday, April 3, 2021 at UMPC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Ronnie completed his earthly journey and entered the eternal rest of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
A TIME TO MOURN: In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Susan J. Wilkerson and Ruth Miller; his brother, Thomas D. Wilkerson, Jr.; his nephew, Adam Wilkerson; his two sisters- in- law, Judith Wilkerson and Shirley Wilkerson. Ronnie leaves to celebrate his life and love are his three brothers, Terrence Wilkerson, Melvin Wilkerson (Sandra), Thomas D. Wilkerson; 2 sisters. Debra S. Wilkerson and Debra Childs-Jordon (John); two nephews, Thomas D. Wilkerson III, and Kevin R, Wilkerson; four nieces,Shawna Slaughter (Brian), Shannon Brown (Andre), Indya LaRowe (Aaron), Adrienne Wilkerson.; his two Goddaughters, Brooklynn Slaughter and Neteasha Knisley; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. Despite Ronnie’s departure to eternal life, his memory and loving spirit will be cherished for lifetimes to come.

Scott was born on July 29, 1957 lived in Harrisburg before moving to Enola after marriage in 1977. He took auto shop at the William Penn Campus of Harrisburg High.. Married to Anna Marie (Robison) Travitz Class of 1972. He had one son and two grandchildren.

Sharon Enoch-Hester, 63 of Harrisburg, passed away on Sunday, Nov 10, 2019, peacefully at home. She is the daughter of Ernestine Enoch and Vincent Wilson.

Sharon was employed as a teacher at the Harrisburg School District. Sharon was a member of Zeta Phi Beta. She was a graduate of Shippensburg University, received a Masters Degree from The University of Scranton and in a Doctorate Program from The University of Pennsylvania.

Sharon is survived by her mother Ernestine, her children Aaron and Michael Hester, a brother Warren Enoch, aunt Mary Louise Graves, and beloved Samuel "Michael" Hester. Also, she is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be held at Hooper Memorial Home Inc. on Friday, Nov 15, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10 a.m.

Sheila L. Allen Howard, daughter of the late Charles E. Allen Sr and Margaretta L. Allen, was born May 19, 1955 in Harrisburg, Pa. She was educated in the public and graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1973. She was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with family.

Sheila was formerly married to James F. Howard and from this union two children were born, Jamal and Janell Howard. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend.

December 7, 2015, Sheila transitioned from this life into the next. She leaves to mourn her mother Margaretta Allen; Three siblings Beatrice Allen , Charles Allen Jr. and Anthony Allen; Two children Jamal Howard and Janell Howard; Three grandchildren Jarell, Terrance Jr. and Trinytee; and a host of relatives and friends.

Stanley L. “Stan” Colbert, Jr. – Chapin – A Celebration of Stan’s Homegoing service will be held at 9:30 AM, Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Columbia Presbyterian Church, 2244 Sumter Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Pastor David Gentino will officiate. Burial will be held at 12:30 PM in Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Stan Colbert went Home to be with the Lord, July 1, 2020. Born in Throgs Neck, NY, he was a son of the late Stanley Lester Colbert and Christabel Gantt. He graduated from City University of New York, Baruch Campus, with a BA in Accounting. In 2013, Stanley retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 40 years of service. He and his wife, Marj, moved to Chapin to retire, and they joined the Columbia Presbyterian Church shortly thereafter, where Stan served as a Deacon. He also created the website, “JisLord.org”, to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Stan’s passion was helping people find a healthy, well-balanced church, and understand the basic non-negotiable elements that make up and characterize the Christian faith. He was also passionate about helping anyone in need; someone close to him, or a complete stranger's need, Stan was always available.

Stan is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Marj Colbert; sons, Sean Colbert of Texas, Stanley L. “Tan” Colbert, III of New York, Daniel “D” Colbert (Eizel) of Pennsylvania, Brandon Colbert of South Carolina; daughters, Carla McFall (Raoul) of Pennsylvania, Tennille Colbert-Roberts (Anthony) of Pennsylvania; step-son, Christopher Forbes of New York; eleven grandchildren; his brother, Tony “Jr.” Jameson (Olivia) of Georgia; his sister, Brenda Lyons of Georgia. Stan is also survived by his beloved cat, Rarity. In addition to his parents, Stan was predeceased by a sister, Gloria Colbert-Warren; and a brother, James Gantt.

Steven E. Lynch, 64, of Market St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. He was born in Harrisburg, son of the late Allen and Ida Mae (Ware) Lynch, a graduate of the former John Harris High School, a former employee of Highmark Blue Shield, Boys & Girls Club and American Legion Ephraim Slaughter Post #733, where he was also a member. Steven had a passion for art, computer operations and graphic design. In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his twin brother, Stanley and his brother, Rusty and leaves to celebrate his life, his son, William Lynch; his brothers, Manuel, Michael and Kevin Lynch and a host of other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, 2447 Green St., with viewing 12 Noon until 1:00 p.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore R. Johnson and Frances Miller, twin sisters, Carrie and Cordia Miller, and twin brothers, Robert and Richard Miller.

Surviving are his children, Theodore Miller Sr. and Quiana Brown; brother, Kim Miller; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Service will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, November 28th, at his church, Bible Tabernacle Christian Center, 361 S. Pine Street, York, with viewing 10 a.m.-12 Noon. Interment will be at Mount Rose Cemetery, York.

Thomasene Smith, 58, of N. 6th St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Harrisburg Hospital.

She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Boykin) Allen, a graduate of the former John Harris High School, retired from the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Transportation and a member of At The Cross Church of God in Christ, where she served on the Usher Board, Choir and Hospitality Committee.

Thomasene loved music and in her leisure, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, watching Westerns and spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, James Anthony Allen and five of her siblings, Mildred, Margaret "Susie", Charles and James Allen and Samuel Holley and she leaves to celebrate her life, her daughter, Tamika Doaks of Harrisburg; her sons, Ronald Allen of Stockridge, GA and Tyrone J. Allen; her brother, Walter Allen, both of Harrisburg; her 10 grandchildren; one great-grand and a host of other relatives and friends.

Tim R. Weikel, 48, of Dauphin, died Saturday at home. He was the owner of Mountain Road Garage Doors, and enjoyed coaching baseball and football for the Dauphin Athletic Association.

He is survived by his wife, Denice; his sons, Kristopher and Benjamin; his sister, Trudy L. Spiese of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in the Neill Funeral Home, Paxtang. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Tyrone E. Thompson, 67, known to many as Tee Football or Tee Footie unexpectedly passed away in a car accident on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Son of Joan Bailey (Stanley) and William Thompson (Estelle) was born in Harrisburg, PA and was educated in the Harrisburg School District. He was an avid and competitive chess player, was known for his well-coordinated outfits and many team jerseys. His love for music was shared with the world, as he was a part of several bands to include 21st Century and Positive Force.

You could often find Tee in the DJ booth spinning for parties and functions. He always knew the latest line dances and would be quick to correct your steps. He had a true love for Jazz and also spent much of his time attending live concerts with family and would often make his way backstage to meet the artists and crew. He was the life of the party. Tee’s infectious personality will truly be missed but the family is comforted by knowing that he truly lived life to the fullest each and every day.

Tee was preceded in death by his stepfather, Stanley Bailey; maternal grandparents, William and Lillian Farley; paternal grandparents, Albert Thompson and Cora Mosby; brother, Garrett (Champ) Thompson; aunt, Vivian Darty; uncle, John Bass; nephew, Stevie Everson and niece, Starr Eubanks. He is survived by his children, RetoshaJuett (Timothy), Eric Thompson (Lucy), Avery Thompson and Stanley Thompson; his grandchildren, Adriana, Zanayah, Aireq, Ziare, Adrian, and Timia; his siblings, Charlene Eubanks (Harold), Kasey Diaz (Kevin), Adrienne Brooks, Lance Thompson, Rik Thompson (Marty), Rokki Thompson (Janet), Tony Bond (Ronnie), Louie Negron (Cindy), and sister-in-law, Donis Thompson; his aunts, Bertha Farley and Yvonne Bass; his uncle, Albert Thompson (Patricia) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Tee’s life will be honored in a public Memorial Service at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 2701 N 3rdSt, Harrisburg, PA 17110 on Saturday, August 6that 1:30 p.m. with visitation 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
