Alfred Thomas Erskine Jr
Class of 1965
Navy, 4 Years
Was in the Navy 4 years, Boot Camp, Chicago, January 1966. Radioman School, Bainbridge MD, met my wife, who lived in DE. Married her 9-1966, when went to Morocco Africa for 2 years, then came back to the USA on a ship in Little Creek VA, USS Speigal Grove LSD (dock landing ship), then got out of Navy in 10-1969. We had one son, Brian born 6-1969, Did not meet our son until 9-1969. Stayed in DE where my wife Barbara was from. Been in DE since 1969. 1973 Joined the DE National Guards for 16 years and now get a small Guard's pension. Was in Air & Army Guards. We were in the Navy stationed in Morocco during the 6th Day War. Was interesting.

Our Hammond High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Hammond High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
