| About Me | I'm a complicated woman of deep faith who also respects science as our tool to unlock Gods mysteries of the universe. I believe everybody is entitled to their own unique belief system, opinions and emotions and I respect this, I also expect the same courtesy. I enjoy discussing issues with people who hold a variety of views as it enables me to see things from all sides and broadens my world. I listen to what is being SAID (typed), not what I expect to hear based on some unfounded pre-conceived notion. I expect the same courtesy. I do my very best not to judge, I cannot walk in any shoes but my own, so I refuse to impose any restrictions on others' life choices or behavior. What another person does, or believes rarely hurts me at all. I, too, fall short, and I believe that we will all meet our Maker (if one believes that) and will be judge accordingly - He is the ONLY judge. We cannot control society by legislating speech, beliefs, behavior(excepting criminal). TRUE EQUALITY does not include special consideration or "protected" groups. A crime is a crime no matter who the victim is. Everybody should be able to love who they want (excepting destructive behavior ie: pedophilia). Adults should have the right to make their own choices as long as nobody else is harmed. LABELS SUCK!!!! Labels tend to generalize and define large groups of people with no consideration of an individuals uniqueness and put them in a BOX. Those inside the BOX are judged by mostly false pre-conceived notions and subsequently dismissed, ignored, attacked, insulted and ridiculed much of the time. Which side of the aisle am I on? Left?
