Shaun died suddenly while on an instructional flight near Conesus Lake. He was a Certified Flight Instructor, and was about to begin a promising career in commercial aviation when his life was cut short at age 22. His spirit and enthusiasm lives on in his nephew Charles Shaun Bohrer, who at age 3, has developed a love for all things flight-related.
