Class of 1956
Air Force, 4 Years
Stationed in Zweibrucken, Germany from 1957 to about 1961 then extend and stationed in Tacoma, Washington and discharged in 1961.
I was a radio traffic anylist in the United States Air Force Secrity service. I could not talk about my job so picked up a camera and became the unofficial photographer for the local little theater groupl called "Studio 872". It was actually an US Army sposored group for we shared space with US Army stock control unit. I saved by leave time and took a 30 day leave in Europe traveling from Paris, Florence, Rome and Madrid and back to Paris. Lots of pictures and lots of fun. I became so interested in photography I decided NOT to make the USAFSS my career and my dad payed for my college education at Art Center School of Design now located in Pasadena, California.
