About	Craig W. Ruby December 5, 1958 — August 8, 2021 Craig W. Ruby, 62, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at the VFW, 518 S. 29th Street – Fort Dodge. Memorials may be directed by the family. Craig was born December 5, 1958, in Fort Dodge, the son of Gerald A. and Luella (Buske) Ruby. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1977. On April 28, 1989, Craig was united in marriage to Carol Wegman at Grace Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. Over the years, he worked at Treloars, Country Club, and USG (nearly 36 years) until his retirement in 2008. Craig was a hard worked who enjoyed a nice cold beer, fishing and bowling. He especially enjoyed time with his children and grandchildren. Craig is survived by his wife of 32 years: Carol Ruby of Fort Dodge; 3 children: Justin Wegman Ruby and wife Jan of Denison, IA, Chad Ruby of Albia, IA and Lacey Ruby of Fort Dodge; 7 grandchildren: Lexis, Rylan, Nabeel, Hakim, Mila, Ava and Emma; his mother: Luella Ruby of Otho, IA; and 2 sisters: Diane Delp and husband Rod of Fort Dodge and Theresa Spencer of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother: Tim Ruby.
