Served aboard USS Wm. R. Rush DD 714 for 3 years after Gunnersmate school. Upon leaving active duty, I went into the USNR and was with Mobile Inshore Undersea Warfare Unit 202. I went to Desert Storm in 1990-91. I retired as a Chief Gunnersmate in 1992 with 24 years service.
