I was trained at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Paris Island starting on August 24th of 2003. During my active duty I was with 1st Marine Division, 1st Force Service Support Group out of Camp Pendleton California. My tours of duty included one six month tour in Al Taqqadum Iraq and a six month sea tour aboard The USS Peleliu with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Both tours were in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I also recieved a humanitarian ribbon for efforts in Slidel Louisianna in support of Hurricane Katrina. I was honorably discharged as a Corporal after completing my term of active duty on August 24th of 2007.

Tom Harrison was activated Aug. 26, 2006 and sent to Kuwait for his second time since Joining the Navy Reserves in 2001. He spent 3 years off active duty from 1995-1998 On board the USS Trento LPD-14.
