Awards: Combat Infantryman's badge, Purple Heart 1st Award, Purple Heart 2nd Award, Army Commendation Medal w/ V device for Valor, and Oak Leaf Cluster for meritorious service. Also, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon for Battalion Joint Operation with USMC subsequent to battle of Dai Do (May 1-14, 1968) and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/ Palm.

(66-73) Staff Sgt. (E-6) Infantry, Military Police, Artillery. Stationed in Vietnam (67-69) and went through both Tet offensives in '68 and '69. In Vietnam he was stationed with Charlie Falcon and Kenny Grant (both from EGHS '66).
He taught ROTC at Cal Poly, stationed at the Pentagon, and was advisor to the National Guard at Headquarters when Reagan was Governor.
