Was a gunner (5'38" cannon) involved in Naval Gunfire Support Operations in support of the Marine I Corps on the DMZ in Viet Nam. Received the Naval Commendation Medal for heroic action, as well as the Combat Action Ribbon.

I was in the Navy from 1987-1991. I was a Torpedoman's Mate Technician (TMT3) After discharge (honorable LOL!), I did 2 yrs in the Air Force Reserves. My Son has started his career in Navy as well as Nuke.

Served from March 1966-August 1986. Retired as a Msgt (E-7) in 1986. SAC Master B-52 Crew Chief. Vietnam Veteran. 45 Months in that war serving in Guam, Okinawa, & Thailand. Flew on 18 Combat Missions, Served 2 separate tours in Japan totaling 10 years. Proud to have served my country in uniform.

Our E. C. Glass High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our E. C. Glass High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
