Hello,

As an alumni of Dyer County High School, Class of 1979, this is my story. I have recently in 2011 completed a Master's program in Nursing Education. As a non-traditional student, I consider this accomplishment a success at this time in my life. At the age of 51, I not only completed a graduate program, I also graduated magna cum laude. I now have the option of working as a registered nurse OR as an educator in the health sciences.

Thanks to my core education at Dyer County HIgh School, my opportunities at this time in my life are unlimited. It is NOT just an old wives tale......One is never too old to continue learning.
