| About Me | Gosh, where to begin? After graduating college I moved to Indianapolis to work for the National Institute for Fitness and Sports as a Corporate Fitness Manager. It was a blast and I loved Indy. I fell in love with a southern gentleman and moved to N.C. to get married. My husband was stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC and served with the 82nd Airborne Division. He left for Iraq three weeks after our wedding. During that time I worked for a hospital in their rehab/wellness dept. and taught classes at a community college. Two and a half years later we moved to Washington DC. We are currently here on the Maryland side and enjoying a break from deployments while my husband attends medical school. We had a beautiful daughter (Elizabeth Merritt) who is now 15 months. I'm currently blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom and do a little independent contract work for a hopsital up here.
