CONCORDIA --- Sherilyn J. LaBonte, 54, formerly of Concordia, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at a Corpus Christi, Texas, hospital.
She was born July 14, 1947, in Concordia, the daughter of Bert and Imogene Reed. She moved to Flour Bluff, Texas, in 1989.
Survivors include her husband, James LaBonte, at home; a son, Shawn LaBonte, Ingleside, Texas; a daughter, Ramona J. LaBonte, Cuero, Texas; two brothers, Jerry Reed, Flour Bluff, Texas, and Michael Reed, Kyle, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel in Concordia. Burial will be in St. Peters Catholic Cemetery in Aurora. Mrs. LaBonte will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel where a vigil service will be at 7 p.m.
