Lucas, Linda M. (nee Roneker) - Saturday 9, 2023
Age 75, of Cheektowaga passed on Saturday December 9th, 2023. She was the loving wife of Roger S. Lucas; step-mother of Chris Ann Lucas Hellerman, Sherry Lyn Lucas Wyntjes, Beth May Lucas Harriger, Dean Paul (Donna) Lucas, and Roy Daniel (Laura) Henley. Also survived by many grandchildren,nieces, nephews, and several in-laws;predeceased by some in-laws. Lin (Suz) was born in Lockport, NY on May 20,1948, the third daughter to George Benard Roneker and Harriet Margaret Heroy. Her sisters Jean (Butch) Doane and Joanne Helen (Larry) LoParco predeceased her. She was a graduate of Clarence High School (1966). From there she went on to Bryant & Stratton for secretary learning. She worked as a civil employee in Germany for a short time. She had also worked for a number of law firms, the Clarence Chamber of Commerce, and was a customer service representative for Allstate Insurance Company. As a Christian she held a number of positions on various Church Boards and was a member in Choirs. Visitation will take place Friday Dec.15, 4-7 PM at the former SHEPARD BROS FUNERAL HOME (Fieldstone Church) 10690 Main St, Clarence, NY 14031, where a service will be held at 7PM. Burial will take place at Clarence Fillmore Cemetery Saturday at 10AM.
