BG Clarke M. "Pete" Brintnall
Class of 1951
Army, 20+ Years
Central High's ROTC Program was the start to my military career. I
graduated from West Point in June 1958 and went on to serve in several U.S
and foreign posts to include Germany, Iran, Vietnam, Panama and Brazil. I
had the privilege of serving as Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense
for Inter-American Affairs before retiring and moving on to the National
Security Council to serve Presidents Ronald Reagan and George Herbert Walker
Bush. In 2003 I co-founded the Wounded Warrior Mentor Program which has
served more than 800 Wounded Warriors of all Services in the National
