Robert L Baker
Class of 1968
Army, 6 Years
Served 2 years active duty in artillery unit in Augsburg Germany then 2 years active reserves followed by 2 years of inactive reserves. Received an honorable discharge in April of 1976.

Uzelle Derwood Walker
Class of 1937
Marine Corps, 7 Years
Staff Sgt, First Battalion, 4th Marines. WWII veteran. He spent 3 and a half years in a Japanese prison camp. Survivor of the Bataan Death March. One of 300 Allied POWs held at Nomtchey POW camp after Osaka was bombed out. Held at Cabanatuan prior to that and transported in Japanese "hell ship." Wounded twice in Corregidor. Awarded the Bronze Star, 3 Purple Hearts, and two awards from the government of the Phillippine Republic. A proud US Marine.
