| About Me | I grew up an Air Force Brat and born in Lincoln Nebraska. I now live in TEXAS. I have a hubby, 2 brothers, great parental units, great parental in laws, a kitty (Spooky-kitty for sale), and 2 ferrets (Sarah & Piglet-my baby girls)I have lived everywhere and because of the constant moving I became very independant, self-assured and self-motivated. I am now a Breast Cancer & Dbl Mastectomy Survivor (fighting for over 5 years with one reoccurrence...not quite a year but working on it. I am married to the most wonderful Husband in the World whom I LOVE with all of my Heart. We have been married since my cancer DX for 5 years going on 6 in October and it get's better each and every day. I definitely married my Best Friend! Eric is a Houston Police Officer and Retired Sgt. in the Army-MP and an Identical Twin....yes they are like Twinkies! I have a strong belief and faith in God with whom I could not make it through cancer. I thank God for the life he has given me and I would not change getting cancer for anything in the world. It has made me a stronger person and more caring and compassionate for those I am around. It has also made me a better Paramedic with my patients that I have. I can definitely understand what they are going through now, having been through it myself. My Parents are also my Rock. I LOVE YOU MOM & DAD! My Brothers & Sister(Mark & Anita & Bill Jr) and my Friends (Dana, Lily, Susanne (also a Cancer Survivor), Alison (also a BC Survivor), Heather, Fred and Dawn) my other MOM & DAD (Marilyn & Curtis) my other Brother and Sister (Derek and Kathy)....THANK YOU for being there for me and holding my hand through everything.
