| About Me | A few mouth after graduation I got a job working for the Forest Service as a Wildland Firefighter. I liked camping and being outdoors, I thought it would be fun for a little while until I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. Well thirty years later I still work for the Forest Service as a Wildland Firefighter. I have fought fires from Alaska to Florida and from Mexico to Canada. What a ride. I am now going on 8 years as the Superintendent of the Texas Canyon Hotshots crew located on the Angeles National Forest outside of Los Angeles. What a gre...(read more) |
