Vern was the gatekeeper on the class marking the passing of our classmates with a black ribbon in his annual. Unfortunately he passed before our 50th.
John ( Jack ) Thomas Beckman '65 said:
I knew Vern on a touch and go relationship in high school and he developed a strong class presence keeping track of all of the classmaters who had passed in his annual. Very sorry to see him pass as he was a wealth of information on the class.
