In addition to several assignments in the US and overseas, I saw action in Grenada, the Gulf War, and Somalia. The attached picture was taken on the first day of the ground war in Kuwait, Feb 1991

He said that they would cll me out of basic as soon as there was an opening in flight training school.... Hmmm, I'm still waiting to be called out. Ole Charley come lately.....
