Miss Jean A. Landers Married To Charles L Pederzani, Ex-Navy Man

Bourne Methodist Church was the setting for the Saturday wedding of Miss Jean A. Landers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer W. Landers of Cataumet to Charles L. Pederzani, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pederzani of Sagamore. The Rev. Sherwood A. Treadwell conducted the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of silk taffeta adorned with sequins and seed pearls. Her veil was finger tip length and she carried a white Bible covered with white carnations and streamers.

Miss Lander's attendant was her sister, Mrs. J. R. Hathaway of Kingman, Ind. who wore a street length dress of periwinkle blue organza with a matching headpiece. She carried an old fashioned bouquet.

Best man was Peter Neilson of North Falmouth. Herbert Hundley of West Orange, N. J. ushered with Richard Landers of Allston.

The bride's mother wore a lavender lace over taffeta dress with a pale yellow corsage, beige accessories and an iridescent sequined hat. The bridegroom's mother chose a dusty rose dress with white accessories and a carnation corsage.

A reception for 200 guests followed the wedding at the home of the bride's parents in Cataumet. Mrs. Peter Neilson was in charge of the guest book. Guests were present from Kingman, Ind., Rhode Island, Virginia, Long Island and New York.

The new Mrs. Pederzani left for a brief wedding trip wearing a summer print dress with white accessories and a white carnation made from her bouquet. Their future home will be on Scraggy Neck road in Cataumet.

The bride attended Bourne schools and is an operator at the Cataumet Telephone Office. The bridegroom attended Bourne schools and graduated from Bourne High School in 1954, and after four years in the Navy is now employed by Perini Construction Company at Otis.
