Lucia Churchill Jenkins, William Norris Douglas Exchange Vows

Miss Lucia Churchill Jenkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert B. Jenkins of 191 Main Street, Buzzards Bay, and William Norris Douglas, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. O. Douglas of Perryville, Tennessee., were married in an afternoon ceremony at the bride's home on Saturday.

The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Sherwood Treadwell of the Bourne Methodist Church.

Bouquets of yellow jonquils and forsythia decorated the living room, and there was a centerpiece of spring flowers on the refreshment table.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a beige suit with a brown hat and accessories. Her corsage was of pink camellias.

Miss Yvonne Mitchell of Buzzards Bay was maid of honor attired In a gray suit and wearing a corsage of pink carnations.

Dean Vaughn of Otis Air Force base was best man.

The bride's mother wore a blue print afternoon dress and a corsage of pink camellias and white stephanotis.

Forty guests attended the reception at the bride's home.

The couple left on a wedding trip to New Orleans.

The bride was born in Brockton, graduated from Bourne High School in 1955 and is employed as a telephone operator at the Cataumet Exchange, She is a member of the Bourne Methodist Church.

Mr. Douglas was born in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated from Peabody High School. He is an Airman Second Class, serving at Otis.
