Struck By Car

Mrs. Mary Pina, 86, of Main Road, West Falmouth, was seriously hurt yesterday when she was struck by an auto driven by George Duane Harrison, also of West Falmouth.

Mr. Harrison told police he was traveling about ten miles an hour when Mrs. Pina loomed in his headlights. He saw her in the center of his lane and applied his brakes. Veering sharply to the left he struck Mrs. Pina.

Tobey hospital reports that Mrs. Pina is resting comfortably this morning. She has a broken leg.
