George Duane "Dewey" Harrison and Shirley June Landers Nupitals Sunday

Landers-Harrison Nuptials Sunday
The Everett F. Landers home in West Falmouth was the setting for the marriage of Miss Shirley June Landers to George Duane "Dewey" Harrison last Sunday afternoon.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Everett F. Landers and the Rev. Lacy C. Standifer officiated.
Following the ceremony, there was a reception for 25 relatives of the bride and bridegroom.
Mrs. Donald Grady,of West Falmoifth was the bride's attendant and Mr. Charles G. Ellis of Sagamore was best man.
The bride wore an orchid suit with a flowered hat, navy accessories and a corsage of spring flowers.
Mrs. Grady was dressed in a brown suit with a pink hat and a corsage of pink roses.
Mrs. Landers was gowned in copen flowered crepe with a corsage of pink roses while Mrs. Harrison, mother of the bridegroom, wore a brown dress and hat with a corsage of yellow roses.
The bride was graduated from Falmouth schools arid has recently been employed by the Brockton Enterprise-Times.
She has been the reclpient of several showers both here and in Brockton.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett F Landers of West Falmouth.
Mr. Harrison is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lester Harrison of Sagamore. He is a graduate of Bourne high School and a veteran of five years service in the Army. He is employed at the Sagamore Lumber Company.
The wedding couple have left for a short trip to Canada. They plan to live in West Falmouth until their own home is completed.
