Meredith Ann Muir and John Frank Falachi Wed

John F. Falachi Wed In Sagamore To Meredith Muir
Swift Memorial church in Sagamore was the setting for the wedding Saturday of Miss Meredith Ann Muir, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Muir of Sagamore to John Frank Falachi, son of Mrs. Carl Falachi ol Montpelier, Vt.
The Rev. Wesley Veasy of that church performed the ceremony and Arnold Swift played the wedding music soloist.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white tafetta gown of scoop neckline outlined with sequins, iridescents and lace, the floor length skirt was worn over a hoop and ended in a chapel train. Her finger tip veil of net was held in place by satin cap embroidered with sequins and iridescents. She carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations and an orchid.
Miss Joan Wallace of Buzzards Bay was matron of honor. She wore a sapphire blue satin ballerina length gown with a hoop, long sleeves and fitted waist length jacket of matching material. Her hat was of velvet and tulle and. she carried a cascade bouquet of rose chrysanthemums.
Louis Pack, the bridegroom's brother-in-law, of Montpelier, was best man. James McMann of Buzzards Bay and Hayden Coggeshall of Bourne were ushers.
Reception for 100 guests followed at the Buzzards Bay Summer theatre. Out of town guests were from Lynn, Beverly and Montpelier.
The bride's mother received guests in peau de soie navy sheath afternoon dress with an olive green velvet hat and a green orchid corsage. The bridegroom's mother received in a rose crepe and lace dress with a flowered hat and an orchid corsage.
For their wedding trip to Canada, the new Mrs. Falachi chose a nubby green and brown tweed suit with a fox fur collar, green accessories and an orchid corsage.
The new Mrs. Falachi is a graduate of Bourne High School and the Cape Cod Secretarial School. She is a secretary to Edgarton, Germhausen and Grier.
Mr. Falachi. holds an. associate degree in journalism from Omaha State University and is a graduate of Boston University. He served in the U.S Navy and is now Cape reporter for the Boston Globe.
