Buzzards Bay Girl Home From Alaska With Husky Dog
Miss Valerie Koskela. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aarne Koskela of Old Bridge Road in Buzzards Bay, together with her friend, Miss Gail Ferguson of Newport, R.I., resigned her position as nurse and police matron at Cordova Community Hospital in Cordova. Alaska, after having worked there 18 months.
Miss Koskela brought home with her a Husky dog, now living with her family while she works on special duty at New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston where she trained as a nurse.
