Susanne Ryder Honored at Bridal Shower

Miss Ryder Guest At Bridal Shower
Miss Susanne Ryder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward D. Ryder of Barlows Landing Road, Pocasset was guest of honor at a shower given by Miss Eleanor M. Wright Wednesday evening.
Miss Ryder is to be married June 27 to Gerald L. Willey of Wings Neck Road, Pocasset. The honor guest was seated in a prettily decorated chair to open a pile of attractive gifts.
Attending were Mrs. Edward D. Ryder, Mrs. Kimball Ryder, Mrs. Herbert Willey, Mrs. Tabor Perty, Mrs. T. Bion Landers, Mrs. Alton S. Collins, Mrs. H. Sprague Spooner, Mrs. Edward S. Towne, Mrs. Francis A. Merritt, Mrs. George E. W. Swift, Mrs. Gardner G. Gibbs, Mrs. Louis Casanova, Mrs. Preston Cushing, Mrs. Lewis S. Cooper, Mrs. Henry L. Schoenherr, Mrs. David L. Perkins, Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Mrs. Newell Snow, Mrs. Elwood F. Wing, Mrs. Leighton Card, Mrs. Arthur Watt, Miss Anna Casanova, Miss Betsy Ryder, Miss Janet Cushing, Miss Brenda Clouette, Miss Carol Crommett, Miss Janice Willey, and Miss Jean Landers.
Not able to attend, but sending a gift were Mrs. Sidney A. Collins, Mrs. Stanley E. Cook, Mrs. Julian W. Barlow, Mrs. Frederick W. Fuller, Mrs. Franklin Barlow, Mrs. Roderick MacLeod, Mrs. E. K. Dean, Miss Elizabeth Finney, Miss Karen Gibbs and Miss Marcia Watt.
Refreshments were served by the hostess assisted by her mother Mrs. William S. Wright and her sisters Mrs. Peter A. Neilsen, Miss Carol and Miss Marcia Wright.
