Mrs. Brice Sumner Making Home In Anchorage, Alaska
A new resident of Anchorage, Alaska, metropolis of the farthest north state, is Mrs. Brice (Shannon) Sumner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Taylor of Cataumet.
Mrs. Sumner accompanied her husband Captain Sumner, who is on assignment with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, in the northland state. Their daughters Cameron and Elizabeth are with them.
They expect to stay for three years in Alaska. Captain Sumner's duties will be concerned with the design and construction of military and civil works projects that are being built by the Engineers Alaska district.
He is a graduate in engineering of Harvard University and a native of Nashville, Tenn.
Mrs. Sumner was graduated from Bourne High School, attended University of Maine and Cape Cod Secretarial School.
