Nancy Lee Upton Becomes Bride of Mr. Harrington

Miss Nancy Lee Upton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Upton of County Road in Monument Beach and Barry Harrington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Harrington of Bay Head Shores, Buzzards Bay were married October 19 at St. John's Church in Pocasset.

The 8 A. M. single-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. James A. Drury, the pastor.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a soft brown tweed suit with winter white accessories and a white rose corsage and carried a white prayer book.

The maid of honor, Miss Yvonne Mitchell of Buzzards Bay, wore blue and white tweed with white accessories and a corsage of yellow roses.

The best man was Wayne Upton of Monument Beach, brother of the bride.

Twenty-five guests, the family and close friends, attended a reception at the Bourne Mill.

Among out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Anastasai and Mr. and Mrs. Harrington Sr., grandparents of bridegroom.

The bride, born in Baltimore, attended Bourne High School and is a secretary at the Barnstable County Hospital.

The bridegroom, a graduate, of Bourne High School, is employed by the state.

After a wedding trip to New Hampshire they will live in Yarmouth.
