B.H.S. Students Organize to Run Saturday Dances

High school students who took part in the series of dancing lessons met Saturday evening at the Bourne Memorial Community building and voted to form an organization.

Don Polley was elected chairman of the executive council.

First of the group's activities will be a record hop Saturday from 7:30 to 11:30 P.M. in the Memorial, Community building.

Phyllis Peckman is general chairman of the dance and Don Polley is handling publicity.

Included in the evening will be a "Name it" contest to choose a name for the club.

Advisors to the council will be the same PTA members who assisted during the dancing lessons.

All Bourne High school members are invited to attend tomorrow evening.

For those wanting dancing instruction, there will be lessons from 7:30 to 8 P.M. by Ann DeTemple and Don Polley.

As executive council representatives they elected Bill Savage and Helen Wallace from Buzzards Bay, Edward Shay and Phyllis Peckman from Bourne and Monument Beach, Sonya Clouette from Sagamore and Wayne Lowcock and Linda Cooper from Cataumet and Pocasset.
