Bourne High Grads Plan Dinner-Dance At Summer Meeting
The Bourne High School Alumni Association Executive Committee met last Tuesday evening at the Bourne Memorial Building to complete plans for the annual summer meeting at the high school.
A barbecued chicken dinner will be served In the cafetorium beginning at 6:00. Tables will be left up around the room during the evening in order that those attending may easily gather in groups for visiting and renewing acquaintances.
A business meeting will be conducted at 8 P.M. by the president Donald H. Long and will be followed by community singing led by Mrs. Alberta Hunt Harding. Dancing from 9 to midnight will be to a Mel Von Trio.
The date for the affair is Saturday evening August 11 and tickets are now available from executive committee members Mr. Donald Long, Charles F. Tucy Jr., Mrs. C. Sumner Braley, Mrs. Beatrice G. Williams, Mrs. Sidney Scott, Mrs. L. Edward DeGagne and Mrs. Louis Papi.
