Florine Clouette Married Walter R. Hammond Jr.

Miss Clouette Bride Of Walter Hammond
Miss Florine Clouette, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Clouette of Savery Avenue, Sagamore, was married September 6 to Walter R. Hammond Jr. at a morning double ring ceremony at St. John's Catholic Church in Pocasset. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Thomas LeBlanc of Corpus Christi Church.
Miss Clouette wore a formal floor length wedding gown of white embroidered cotton satin.
She was escorted to the altar and given in marriage by Raymond Remillard of Buzzards Bay.
Miss Louise Bassett of Buzzards Bay, dressed in short pink nylon dress, led the bridal procession.
Miss Marjorie Remillard of Buzzards Bay, maid of honor, wore a waltz length sheath dress of lavender.
Three bridesmaids, wearing gowns similar in style to that of the maid of honor, were Miss Brenda Clouette of Pocasset, Mrs. George Cantrell of Buzzards Bay and Mrs. Leonard Sylvia of Sagamore, all sisters of the bride.
Best man for the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hammond of Olive Avenue, Monument Beach, was Joseph Ehmann, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. Ushers were Wallace Alden and Dominic Bernabei of Buzzards Bay and Emiliano Gavazza of Sagamore.
Ninety guests were present at the reception at the Elks Hall in East Wareham.
Bride was attired in a paisley sheath dress with straw picture hat and black accessories and orchid when the couple left for a wedding trip to Pennsylvania. They are now at home in Mashnee Village.
The new Mrs. Hammond was born in Sagamore, attended Woonsocket High and was graduated from Bourne High School and is employed as a clerk at the Buzzards Bay National Bank.
Mr. Hammond, born in Cambridge, also was graduated from Bourne High School. He has served in the United States Air Force and is now employed by the Coco Cola Bottling Company in Sagamore.
