Lorraine Helen Cooper and Richard Lewis Jackson Married

Lorraine Cooper Wed At Pocasset To Navy Man
Miss Lorraine Helen Cooper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis S. Cooper of Pocasset and Richard Lewis Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest W. Jackson of Bourne were married August 11 at the home of the bride's parents.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Walter Wakeman, pastor of Pocasset Baptist Church in a setting of pink and white gladioli, carnations and larkspur. Mrs. Ralph Kiniry was organist.
The bride wore a two piece formal sundress of white lace over aqua taffeta with a jacket and white lace calo cap. She wore a pink rose corsage. The couple left for a wedding trip to Maine, the bride wearing a cranberry colored Palm Beach suit with white hat and accessories.
Among guests at the wedding were Mrs. F. W. Kezer of Derry, N. H.; Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Gonnam of Reading, W. C. Cooper and Miss Helen Cooper of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Jerauld of Barnstable and Rodney H. Cooper of Merrimac.
The bride was born in Medford and attended Bourne High School. She Is employed as a private secretary in Fitchburg.
Mr. Jackson attended Bourne High School and is serving in the Navy.
