Diane Curry Injured in Car Accident

Monument Beach Girl Injured
A Monument Beach girl was treated at Tobey Hospital for injuries incurred in a two car collision at 3:44 P.M. Saturday on Route 28 in East Falmouth.
Miss Diane Curry, 18. of 37 Eel Pond Road, Monument Beach, received a fractured jaw and cuts and bruises, and was treated at the scene by Dr. Philip Wessling.
She was a passenger in a car operated by Robert J. Coffey Jr. of West Haven, Connecticut, attached to the 551st EM Squadron at Otis. Mr. Coffey was traveling West on Route 28 when he collided with a vehicle operated by Diane J. Silva of Main Street. Teaticket, as she pulled out of Ski's Diner to head East on Route 28.
Police reported the Coffey vehicle received extensive frontend damage. The Silva vehicle received damage on the left side. There were no other injuries in the accident.
