Frances Michele Bernabei Enters Fireman's Ball Contest

Two More Entries In Flame Contest At Firemen's Ball
An entry this week of the Misses Donna Jean Shirley and Frances Michele Bernabei brought to eight the number of contestants in the "Miss Flame" contest which is a feature of the annual Firemen's Ball this evening.
Decorating committee of Lionel A. Bachand, Herbert Ellis, Stuart Smith and Michael Collamore worked Wednesday with professional decorators to transform the big Bourne Armory for the dance at which the Mel Von Orchestra will play.
James Tamagini heads the judges for the "Miss Flame" contest.
The committee is Samuel L. Frey, Mr. Collamore, Richard Reynolds and Wayne Terrill. There is a trophy for "Miss Flame", flowers and gifts for her and her court. She will also draw the door prize, a 12-foot outboard and motor which has been on display at the headquarters fire station.
