Bourne Basketball Team is Honored
Twelve Bourne High School court men Saturday evening received handsome purple and White jackets and enjoyed the plaudits of 200 fellow townsmen at a dinner in their honor at the Peebles School In Bourne.
The Bourne team took the Cape Championship, then went to the finals of the Tech Tourney before losing.
The boys honored were seniors Phil Curry, Ed Savage, Charlie Weston, Wayne Upton, Bob Corradi, Dave Archambault, Bob Pipkins, Ed Watt, Al Harrington, Lou Pasquale, Bill Cunningham and Bob Driscoll.
They heard their season's play extolled by their coach. Lucien Bachand, Principal Walter J. Stahura and Superintendent Wilfred M. Graves.
