Charlie Weston Pumped in 25 Points in Game With Harwich
Class of 1959
Falmouth Enterprise, Friday, January 11, 1957, Page 11
Schools In The News, Bourne High
On the past two successive Friday nights the Purple lost basketball games to Harwich 63-48 on December 28 at Harwich and 57-36 on January 4 at Bourne.
In the first game, Charlie Weston was hot pumping in 25 points on nine baskets and seven free throws. He was followed by Dick Palomba with 11.
In the second game Palomba took up the slack with 17 while Weston was cooling off to a total of six points for the night.
A blistering attack by Harwich in the third quarters of both games spelled the difference.
