Tankers Are Tops In Babe Ruth League
The Tankers, with an 11-7 record, won the 1960 Babe Ruth League title at Otis, and players will receive their awards at a dinner tomorrow evening for all players of the league in the NCO open mess at 7 P.M.
Players are:
In front row, Buzz Walker, John Miller, Bob Schween, Mike Leeny, leading pitcher with six wins to two setbacks; Eugene Davis and Cliff Jameson.
In back row. Capt. Charles E. Miller, coach; David Melville, Kent Brown, George Lutz, Don Johnson and Capt. Roy A. Johnson.
Missing when picture was taken were Steve Peage, top batter at .500; Shad Hayes, Richard Thompson and Bob Taylor.
