Eleanor Ackerman, Edwin F. Wheeler To Wed In Fall
BOURNE NEWS
Mr, and Mrs. B. T. Ackerman of Summervllle, S. C, have announced the engagement of their daughter Miss Eleanor Ackerman of Summerville and Charleston, S. C, to Edwin Farwell Wheeler of Washington, D. C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis L. Wheeler of Monument Beach.
Miss Ackerman was graduated from North Charleston High school and Rice Business College.
Mr. Wheeler attended University of Maine and was a member of Beta Theta Pi before entering the U.S. Air Force Aviation Cadet program. He recently served as a first lieutenant in the Air Force stationed at Charleston Air Force Base, S. C. He is now a pilot with Capitol Airlines.
