Two Seniors Earn Commendations
Bourne High School have been honored for their high performance on the National Merit Scholarship qualifying test (NMSQT) given last spring.
Walter J. Stahura, the, school's principal, has announced that Beverly G. Harris and Judith Tlmmermans received formal letters of commendation signed by the president of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, John M. Stalnaker.
According to Mr. Stalnaker these students are in a group that comprises about two per cent of all high school seniors. '"This," said Mr. Stalnaker, "certainly signifies noteworthy accomplishment."
