Bourne Legion To Sponsor Boy, Conduct Auction
Major General Leonard Wood Post 230 of the American Legion will sponsor a boy for Boy's State in June to be held at the University of Massachusetts under the supervision of State Legion officers.
The Legion Post will stage a public auction the latter part of June, the proceeds to go to Legion Child Welfare and Legion Community Activities.
Persons desiring to donate articles for the auction may contact the following who will gladly pick up the articles:
Maurice L. Fuller Sr., Cataumet; John J. Holland, Pocasset; Robert Evans, Monument Beach; Morris Reynolds, Buzzards Bay; Elton Cook, Sagamore, and Samuel Habib, Commander, Buzzards Bay.
