Barbara Wixon Surprised at Bridal Shower

Miss Wixon Surprised
Expecting to attend the first anniversary party of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Wixon at their home on Waterhouse Road. Miss Barbara Wixon was surprised to find herself the guest of honor at a surprise miscellaneous Bridal shower.
The house was decorated with streamers, wedding bells, and flowers from the gardens of Mrs. Thomas Andrews. The buffet style refreshment table was centered with a large bride's cake flanked by tall taper candles.
Guests present included the Mmes. Clifton Weeks, Leon Burgess, Richard Baillie, Atwood Bassett, Robert Bassett, Earl Perrin, Pat Gibbs, and A. Gibbs of Cedarville, George Sampson, Katherine Blackwell, Sarah Nickerson, Henry Wixon, and Alonzo Sampson.
Hostesses were Mrs. Gordon Wixon and Mrs. Harold Nickerson.
