Gay A. Locke Will Attend School in Peru

Pocasset Girl Will Attend School In Peru
Miss Gay A. Locke, daughter of Mrs. Wilfrido Garcia of Pocasset left December 28 from Idlewild Airport for Lima, Peru where she will spend a year with her father, John D. Locke, manager in Lima for Grant Advertising, SA. and his family, and with her brother Kingsley Locke.
Gay and Kingsley will attend the Franklin D. Roosevelt American School when the fall term begins in April, with Gay completing her present sophomore year by correspondence course from the American School In Chicago.
Months of January, February and March comprise the summer vacation in Peru.
Gay has been a member of the sophomore class at Bourne High school where she was president of the Biology Club and has also been active in the Young People's Fellowship of St. Peter's Episcopal Church In Buzzards Bay as treasurer.
She is a member of the Order of Rainbow for Girls, Falmouth Assembly No. 73.
After a week in Lima, the Locke family will go to their ranch in Osorno, Chile for a two month vacation, returning to Lima in March.
