Three Inducted Into Honor Society
In a candlelight service on the stage of Bourne High school's auditorium three seniors were made members of the James F. Peebles chapter of the National Honor Society. They join the five who achieved this honor in their junior year.
Character, service, leadership and scholarship are the society's four goals. Rev. Wesley J. Vesey, who spoke to the assembled junior and senior classes, emphasized the country's and the students needs for the development of character along with scholarship.
New members, holding candles, are: Judy Kelley, left; Sharley Halopoff, center; and Jacqueline Gaddy. The five welcoming members standing behind them are, from the left, Stephen Lawless, Thomas Gallerani, Janice Willey. George Tomlinson and Neil Minihan.
